The Gold Coast hosts many amazing annual events including music and cultural festivals, major sporting meets, horse-racing days and street carnivals. Of note would be the Magic Millions Racing carnival held early on each year, the Gold Coast Airport Marathon usually conducted in July, the Lexmark Indy 300 held annually in October, and the famous Schoolies Festivals which run late in the year.
