The Discovery Coast stretches from Bundaberg in the south of Queensland through to Rockhampton and Yeppoon in the north. The region also incorporates the islands and reefs of the Capricorn section of the Great Barrier Reef, from Lady Elliot Island in the south to Heron Island and Great Keppel Island in the north.
